HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

Sorry i havent been keeping this updated as much as i would like to, but its that time of year where we are all busy, busy, busy, at the moment im mainly just updating film reviews but after christmas i will get back to updating all aspects of my blog and hopefully get it exactly how i want it!.

I hope you all have an amazing christmas, (and if i dont get chance to update before the new year), i hope you all have a wonderful new year.

Im sorry this is just a short update but i know you are all most likely too busy to be reading this anyway at the moment,

THANK YOU to all the new visitors and all the returning visitors to my blog, without you all i would not have been able to reach a tremendous milestone of the 100,000 pageviews which i hope will be reached by the end of today......

All enjoy! see you soon

Much love

Phil.

JACK FROST'S FROZEN CHRISTMAS

On sunday i went to see the fabulous jack frost's frozen christmas with Katie and Ellie, Starring Marcus Collins who was runner-up on the x factor, (not sure what year).

Anyway the cast were absolutely amazing and really funny, and this is how the story went.

Santa and his elves are busily preparing for Christmas , but there's trouble in the works, and it comes in the shape of icy arch villain Jack Frost!.
Once very good friends with Santa, Jack Frost was outcast when he stole a toy from a child at Christmas....and now he is plotting his revenge.

Jack Frost dislikes Christmas, Children,Parents and Grandparents!
he plans to speed up global warming, melt the north pole and cancel Christmas for all eternity.
He is aided and abetted by his two silly sidekicks- Robin Banks and Dee Linquent - who are supposed to be helping him put his evil plan into action, but somehow they always manage to get things wrong!.

LATEST UPDATES

Good morning to you from the uk,
I just want to let you all know that i have been updating some of the pages from my blog including poems and film reviews,

Anyone who has a blog will know how hard it is to try and update every day, because there is only so much chatter you can use in a blog, the hardest part about writing a blog is the fact that its hard to work out what to write about.

How these professional bloggers and vloggers do it on a full time basis i just dont know because i really struggle to find a topic to write about, however saying that i am not going to give up with this blog, perseverance is the key (i think)?

ANOTHER CHANGE

Guys and girls i hope you like the few changes i have done to the site???

Sorry if i keep changing the site but i am trying to get it right.

The music video i have on the home page will be rotated every few days, and is by a band called GRACES COLLIDE who are a local band from Brighton, Sussex, and which a friend/work colleague of mine is in, they have a number of songs on YOUTUBE and are a great band to listen to.

10000 HITS

In just a few days i have hit a new target: 10000 pageviews, to most people, they are probably thinking 10000 hits so what! but to me 10000 hits was a milestone and in 3 days was just a dream,...

Exciting times lie ahead if...

1. you were born in the 80's OR
2. you love retro computers.

Then this article is definitely for you.

he Spectrum fanbois at Retro Computers have enlisted the help of Sir Clive to launch a new crowd-funded Spectrum clone. The Sinclair Spectrum Vega is a console that plays games from the '80s – complete with piezo speaker-generated sound and attribute clash.

The Vega is being marketed by Retro Computers Ltd, a Luton-based startup in which Sir Clive’s company Sinclair Research Ltd is a shareholder.

ANOTHER DAY IN THE LIFE OF.........ME

Well just looking back on my blog yesterday, with what i said about getting more visitors something is working as my visitor count for yesterday was 139, normally its around 20-30 so i must be doing something right, will be a lot happier though if i get it in the 1000s everyday..

Today has been rather a non eventful day looking after ellie this morning while kate at work and then i went to work this afternoon, which was rather boring as work was really quiet and had to sit there watching a trainee and train them......

Over the next few weeks im looking at taking various subjects and incorporating them into this blog as like yesterday i vaguely covered internet visitors, so if there is anything that you would like me to cover, be it dog training?, car review?, or anything let me know and i will do my best to run it through here, i have got a few things in mind so keep watching.

I know i have put this on the film reviews but last night i watched Cougar Hunting which is a really really funny film, kate must have thought i was losing the plot cause every few minute i was chuckling to myself and laughing.

I have a day off work tomorrow and hoping to get the rest of the decs up and might even post a couple of pics on here of the fibre optic tree and the decs :), they are nothing special but we all love decorations etc and it is almost that time of year.......22 sleeps till santa comes, and yes i do believe in santa. he is as real as the tooth fairy lol.

OK im now gonna go and snuggle up in a nice warm bed and watch a film as its blinking cold and getting colder, if anyone is out driving where there is snow or ice please be careful.

Have a good morning? afternoon? or night wherever you are.

GETTING NOTICED ON THE NET

Ok so for the last day or so i have been busy trying to advertise my blog and find ways that will help get visitors to my blog etc.

If anyone has a website or blog and is looking for ways to get noticed/more visitors then im hoping that today's blog may help you.

Firstly there are the obvious ways like sharing to Facebook and Twitter and other social network sites.

Secondly is to submit your blog/site to all the search engines which is pretty easy but can be a bit tedious below are links to just some of the sites i use to submit to search engines.

http://www.freewebsubmission.com/

http://www.entireweb.com/free_submission/

http://www.submitexpress.com/free-submission.html

http://www.scrubtheweb.com/abs/submit/

http://www.evrsoft.com/fastsubmit/

These are just a few of the best that i use, all you do is enter your website or blog address and email address ( preferably don't use your main email as you may be clogged with submission site emails asking you to verify your email address) and then the site does the rest.

Another way i have found to get your visitor numbers up is to use traffic exchange sites which basically means you sign up for say www.blogclicker.com and then add your site/blog, and then everytime you click on another site you receive credits for which you can assign to your site/blog,
for every credit you receive and assign you can then receive one visit to your own site/blog.....
This is a way of getting visitors and the more sites you view the more visitors you can get BUT this way is very time consuming.

I hope this helps anyone that reads this and look forward to writing other useful articles in the very near future.

Thanks
phil.
